Husband and wife team, Steve and Sally Runnacles and their students of Kuk Sool Won™ of Yeovil, a Traditional Korean Family Martial Arts, are celebrating a successful and busy end to 2019.
Not only has the school continued to grow, as well as their usual training and gradings, students have been participating in local events by demonstrating their martial arts training at local fetes and to help raise money for Yeovil schools and St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice.
November was a very busy month which saw students taking part in a martial arts seminar and many of our students travelled to Liverpool to participate in national gradings and a UK tournament.
December saw students taking their final martial arts grading of the year with promotions and annual awards for most improved student to Sam Robertson and student of the year to Arthur Nation.
School owner Steve Runnacles says, “it has been a fantastic 2019 for our students and school. We are looking forward to 2020 and our special demo at the VE Day 2020 celebrations in Yeovil. 2020 is the year of the rat which represent diligence and thriftiness and we intend to take advantage of this year’s energy to be resourceful to be successful!”
